Position Overview
As a Senior SAP Business Process Consultant, you will be part of the Finance Process and Technology Analyst Team, responsible for ensuring business change initiatives follow relevant process design and strategies. You will also oversee the Change Management process and facilitate communication between the regional FP&T Team, stakeholders, and Finance teams. You will own and contribute to a process framework (Syngenta Process Design) and design box. This role combines expertise in Finance and Controlling processes with cross-functional process knowledge and IT/SAP solutions to advise the business on best-practice processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a single point of contact for stakeholders regarding programs, projects, and process activities.
- Provide process leadership and expertise to challenge, support, and improve business performance.
- Drive strategic direction for process areas and develop a 3-year process improvement roadmap.
- Support process change initiatives and early project phases with process expertise.
- Identify opportunities from regulatory changes, data insights, and new business scenarios to develop new processes.
- Embed global business process management practices.

Ideal Candidate Profile
- University degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field, with strong IT project experience.
- 5+ years in SAP consulting and Business Process Management, particularly in Finance, Controlling, and Commercial initiatives.
- Deep knowledge of Finance processes, including FI-SD-MM-PP integration, Inventory Management, Product Costing, and Material Ledger.
- Experience with S/4HANA is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills to identify core issues in complex problems using data and logic.
- Ability to communicate effectively and adapt messaging for different audiences, including business leaders.
- Expertise in process design methodologies, value stream mapping, and project management.
- Fluent in English.
