A little about you…

The Head of Creative is responsible for leading the creative team, developing and executing creative strategies, and ensuring that all creative work aligns with the company\’s brand and business objectives. This role requires a blend of leadership, creativity, and strategic thinking to produce innovative and impactful visual, written, and multimedia content.

The role is responsible for the creation, delivery and ownership for Interact\’s own brand and the visual and thematic implementation of customers brands within the Interact product. Managing two teams (Customer Design and Marketing Design). The Head of Creative is responsible for leading the creative vision and supervising the creative process to ensure that Interact brand is appropriately represented to both internal and external audiences.

About the role…

Responsibilities (Marketing)

  1. Lead and inspire the creative team, including designers, copywriters, and multimedia specialists.
  2. Foster a collaborative and innovative creative environment.
  3. Mentor and develop creative team members, providing feedback and opportunities for growth.
  4. Lead and manage the organisation\’s visual identity ensuring alignment with messaging.
  5. Recommend and develop new visual brand standards and guidelines, including for any subsidiaries or acquired companies.
  6. Manage and guide design team in numerous projects, including event collateral development, email marketing, digital ads, content marketing, and more.
  7. Project manage/oversee design team outputs.
  8. Be up to date on the latest design trends and styles.
  9. Collaborate across departments to ensure teams access and use latest materials.
  10. Present creative concepts and proposals to clients and stakeholders, gathering feedback and making revisions as necessary.
  11. Collaborate across departments to create sales and CS enablement components, including proposals, slide templates, one-pagers, videos, and more.
  12. Work closely with product marketing to ensure strong product and feature visual representation.
  13. Maintain design aspects of corporate website.
  14. Recommend visual content that complements marketing campaigns.
  15. Guide design projects across various formats, including print, web, video, email.

Responsibilities (Design)

  1. Direct line-management of professional services intranet designers.
  2. Suggest and illustrate business process improvements within professionals services implementation of design.
  3. Evaluate new design ideas or concepts (design team).
  4. Initiate research activities based on project requirements.
  5. Analyse research findings to inform design directions.
  6. Troubleshoot issues during project implementation.
  7. Provide on-the-job training to direct reports and junior team members.
  8. Plan objectives and agendas for design workshops.
  9. Provide feedback to direct reports and junior team members.
  10. Suggest and illustrate product improvements via Head of Product (UI / UX).
  11. Present design recommendations, proposals and options to stakeholders.
  12. Liaise with support teams to ensure product design stability.
  13. Liaise with Engineering teams via Head of Design (UI / UX) to ensure product design stability.
  14. Meet clients to identify their needs and liaise regularly with them.
  15. Deliver ongoing design support for existing customer intranet designs.
  16. Create and maintain theme templates where required.
  17. Design sample page layouts including font, text size and colours (Low-Fidelity Wireframes / High fidelity Mockups).
  18. Create interactive solutions to problems.
  19. Design graphics, animations and manipulate digital photographs (where appropriate).
  20. Present initial design ideas to clients.
  21. Carry out coding using a variety of software.
  22. Meet relevant legal requirements such as accessibility standards, freedom of information and privacy.
  23. Ensure application of design is in line with company branding policy or the requirements of the client.
  24. Work with other Intranet designs and Strategists.
  25. Liaise with 3rd party design agencies.
  26. Test Intranet theme applications and build to ensure it\’s working as expected.
  27. Support Sales and Pre-Sales design requirements.
  28. Be proficient with Interact, CMS and other relevant features.
  29. Research current design trends.
