Homelodge Buildings Ltd is seeking a skilled and reliable Site Carpenter to join our dedicated team, working on high-quality modular buildings and timber-frame structures. This hands-on role involves working on-site to carry out a range of carpentry tasks during the installation and finishing phases of our bespoke buildings.
As part of a collaborative and supportive team, the Site Carpenter will be responsible for fitting timber components, which varies between 1st and 2nd fix carpentry. Operate power tools including drills, sanders, and nail guns safely and effectively. Carry out painting tasks to finish surfaces as needed. Ensure all work is plumb, level, and square according to project requirements. Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry. Full UK driving license. Level 2 NVQ in site carpentry or equivalent. Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
