You will be joining our dedicated Digital Internet Gateway (DIG) team and help in delivering its cloud-centric portfolio. A bit about the job:
This role is crucial for enhancing and maintaining our Digital Internet Gateway (DIG) and Akamai platforms, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance and security. You will join a dynamic team dedicated to developing innovative technical solutions and driving service improvements. Your responsibilities will include leading and supporting team members, engineering platform improvements, and championing best practices in coding and engineering. You will be accountable for delivering high-quality technical solutions, documenting designs, and proposing innovative approaches to address challenges.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Experience with cyber security and Federation protocols (like OAuth2, OIDC, SAML) and WAF setup. Akamai experience is a plus, as is working with multi-tenant platforms (AWS, Azure, on-premises).
- Understanding of Customer Identity and Access Management (inbound and outbound) and related tools.
- Knowledge of IBM Security stack (ISAM, ISVA, LDAP) or Open Source (Squid) is beneficial, as well as Application Server technologies like JBoss EAP and Gateway Security concepts (Networking, CDNs, Firewalls, Load Balancers, VPC Peering, NACLs, Security groups).
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (preferably Terraform, Packer, Puppet, Ansible) and CI/CD pipelines (preferably Jenkins and/or Azure DevOps).
- Willingness to continuously learn new tools and technologies, and manage change, problems, and incidents.
- Strong team leadership skills, including managing technical teams and communicating effectively up and down the leadership chain.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.

- Salary Circa National £60000 London Circa £65K depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
