Location: Essex
We are looking for a skilled Engineer with proven experience working with Allen Bradley PLC & SCADA alongside the ability to carry out electrical schematics and 2D mechanical layouts using AutoCAD.
Mechatronic Engineer - The Role:- Hardware and Software design engineering
- PLC Programming – writing and developing code using Allen Bradley / Rockwell
- Designing SCADA & HMI software
- Reviewing project specifications and determining project requirements
- Working on both new and existing projects to develop detailed designs
- Developing functional design specifications and documentation for new projects
- Perform testing and validation of hardware/software systems
- Participate in design and technical meetings with customers/stakeholders
- On site commissioning of new systems both UK and worldwide
- Experienced in PLC programming – Allen Bradley / Rockwell is ESSENTIAL
- PLC / SCADA system design and development, including safety
- AutoCAD knowledge and experience - ESSENTIAL
- Software and Hardware development experience
- Experience in industrial communications – ProfiBus, Ethernet and DeviceNet
- Experience with Simulation and Emulation software an advantage
- Willing to travel throughout the UK and occasionally overseas if needed
