Our client, an ambitious & growing financial services firm, known for their inclusive & supportive culture, are looking to appoint a dynamic Head of T&C to own, develop and enhance the Supervision Framework to ensure robust oversight of ARs and advisers across the business.
As a key member of the Assurance senior leadership team, you will act as the subject matter expert on T&C Supervisory oversight - integral in maintaining strong AR oversight controls to keep the partnership safe.
The role will:
- Oversee delivery of all T&C activity in line with relevant T&C handbooks, policies and procedures, evidencing holistic oversight of ARs.
- Lead all managers and teams to deliver consistent positive consumer outcomes through a customer-centric vision.
- Identify opportunities within firms and advisers to reduce risk and drive positive outcomes for consumers.
- Identify trends and opportunities to optimise supervisory resource.
- Deliver the Certification and Conduct Rules controls as part of SMCR.
- Represent the firm at Industry T&C related events, groups or committees.
- Provide accurate and timely FCA data submissions.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience leading T&C functions within a regulated firm; be a strategic leader that has designed a T&C Scheme, Supervision Framework or AR oversight, in line with FCA expectations; have proven experience in leading large & geographically dispersed teams whilst managing a budget of £1mil+; possess full working knowledge of effective SMCR controls; with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
