Job Description
About the role
As our Tech Asset Management Analyst, you will be a fundamental part of the Digital User Experience team. Reporting into the Enterprise Asset Manager, you will be responsible for the daily management of all tech-related hardware and software inquiries across the ASOS estate. You will assist with BAU activities ensuring all Technology assets across the enterprise are effectively identified, governed, and controlled. You view Asset Management as an essential part of any Tech organization, and you constantly look to improve the current service provided to your customers, bringing progressive ways of working and process improvements to the table. You have an analytical mindset and can take various inventory data sources and produce deliverables to action.
What you will be doing
- Daily BAU Tech Asset Management responsibilities such as Queue & Mailbox Management, Procurement requests, Supplier Liaison, License Reviews.
- Acting as a point of contact for software, hardware, and digital assets queries from internal stakeholders and suppliers.
- Assist with managing and improving our ITSM toolset and reviewing our asset portfolio and catalog across hardware and software.
- Create and maintain processes, tools, frameworks, standards, and templates in line with the industry.
- Optimize spend on tech assets through active management of supplier relationships, networking, and negotiating skills.
- Daily reporting on Incidents, Requests, License allocation, JML Process.
- Schedule audits of assets and asset information.
- Investigate cases of non-compliance and escalate where these cannot be easily resolved.
- Ensure that costs are managed across the Tech estate, supporting and managing POs, invoices, reconciliations, and budget tracking.
- Mobile device management responsibilities including daily processes, reporting, and tracking across the estate inclusive of managing leavers' devices.
Qualifications
Who we would like to meet
Experience in Software and Hardware Asset Management. Experience with Joiners, Movers, Leavers process and other core Asset Management processes. Knowledge of Microsoft Products, Adobe, and other Tier 1 vendors. Understanding of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and IT Service Management. ITIL Foundations v3 certification a plus. Experience with ITSM & SAM toolsets is required, and any knowledge of ServiceNow & Snow Software will be beneficial. Can communicate to stakeholders in a clear and confident manner, and have written process documentation to support new ways of working. Strong Excel Skills (VLOOKUP, PIVOT). Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
