My client is a leading global Home Interiors and renowned luxury consumer goods brand. They have created a centre of excellence in the marketing team and have hired some fantastic talent across Marketing/Brand, Digital, CRM, Insights & Analytics. They are a brand led by Marketing but supported by Data – keeping the customer and customer experience as the focus. Committed to innovation, customer satisfaction, and a dynamic work culture, they are looking for a talented Content Manager to join their team in Birmingham (about 10/15 minutes from the centre, hybrid). Role Overview:
The Influencer & PR executive is a key member of the Marketing team, responsible for building and nurturing relationships with influencers and trade press. This role is responsible for developing and executing influencer marketing and PR strategies to enhance brand visibility, improve reputation, and drive high-quality engagement. You will manage relationships with key influencers, media partners, and industry leaders to raise the brand’s profile across relevant channels and generate quality leads. The role will collaborate closely with the brands team to create and implement strategic campaigns that align with business goals, ensuring brand consistency and effective messaging. This role also involves monitoring and evaluating influencer and PR campaigns, identifying new opportunities, and building long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Influencer marketing & strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive influencer marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement in key B2B sectors. Identify and build relationships with relevant influencers, thought leaders, and industry figures to collaborate on campaigns and promote the brand. Coordinate influencer campaigns across various platforms, ensuring content aligns with brand messaging and delivers the desired outcomes. Manage influencer partnerships, negotiate contracts, and measure campaign performance based on engagement, lead generation, and ROI. Keep abreast of industry trends and identify emerging influencers who align with the brand’s objectives.
- PR strategy: Develop and execute strategic PR campaigns to enhance brand reputation, secure media coverage, and increase visibility in industry publications. Write and distribute press releases, company announcements, and other media communications. Build relationships with key journalists, media outlets, and PR agencies to secure positive press and coverage. Work with the Brands team to ensure PR activities are aligned with broader marketing goals and messaging.
- Content creation: Collaborate with the wide marketing team to create compelling and consistent brand messages for influencers and potential partners. Develop high-quality content for influencer collaborations, media and other external communications, ensuring adherence to the brand guidelines and voice. Ensure all external communications, including press releases, blog posts, case studies, testimonials and media kits, are on-brand, professional, and adhere to industry standards.
- Media relations & event management: Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, bloggers, and media professionals to secure ongoing media coverage and opportunities. Organise and coordinate media events, such as press conferences, product launches, and influencer collaborations, to enhance brand visibility. Assist with the planning and execution of trade shows, industry conferences, and other events that support the brand’s presence and reputation.
What I'm looking for:
- Proven experience in influencer marketing, PR, and media relations, preferably within a B2C/B2B environment.
- Experience writing press releases, developing media kits, and managing media outreach efforts.
- Strong understanding of managing influencer campaigns from start to finish.
- Previous experience working with influencers, media, and external stakeholders to drive brand visibility and awareness.
