Role Purpose: The Compliance Manager (Monitoring) collaborates with Local Compliance Officers, Compliance Managers, business units, and functions to analyze compliance risk and control performance, detect control weaknesses, and provide reports to management and governing bodies on the control environment's overall status.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed analysis and assessment of compliance risk control data, ensuring accuracy through cross-referencing with relevant sources.
- Identify control weaknesses and issues, working with control owners to address them.
- Contribute to reporting status and concerns to relevant governing bodies.
- Conduct compliance monitoring activities as per the Compliance Plan.
- Work with the UK Compliance team providing advisory support to the business.
Key Deliverables:
- Analysis of control data across the compliance risk universe.
- Draft detailed reports on control environment effectiveness, issues, and mitigation steps.
- Assist in developing and implementing robust controls meeting legal, regulatory, and policy requirements.
- Engage actively with risk and control owners to maintain an effective control environment.
- Collaborate with the Legal and Compliance team, business, and external parties to support compliance reviews.
- Support and execute tasks as directed by the Senior Compliance Manager.
