A globally renowned integrator of high end sound systems and digital signage specialising within the retail, leisure and hospitality sectors. With offices spread across 7 countries and over 250 employees worldwide, we are now looking for multiple AV Engineers throughout the UK to join the team and play a key role in delivering first class AV installations.
Job Purpose Summary: To install, service and maintain high end audio visual systems for retail, leisure and hospitality clients, primarily within Scotland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working independently and as part of a small team to carry out installation and service works.
- Providing guidance and training to Junior Engineers.
- Acting as the point of contact on site for any client update requests or queries.
- Maintain contact with the operations team regarding any progress or issues that may occur on site.
- Assembly of AV racks ensuring all cabling is labelled and structured in a tidy manner.
- Leading and training Junior Engineers where required.
- Provide client training on how to use installed systems.
- Ensure accurate completion of any project paperwork.
- Working away from home where required.
- Maintain a safe and tidy workspace.
- Adhere to health and safety policies.
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving License
- Previous experience as an AV installation engineer or similar
- Strong knowledge of background music audio systems (100v line)
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Willingness to work away from home on occasion
Preferred:
- ECS, IPAF or PASMA certificates
- QSC or Dante certifications
In Return: The successful candidate will receive a basic salary of between £27K - £35K per annum depending on experience along with overtime rates of 1.5X. You’ll also receive a generous holiday package of 25 days plus bank holidays, your birthday off and the ability to buy and sell up to 5 days of annual leave. A Medicash healthcare scheme along with death in service compensation of 3X your annual salary will also be included within the package. All necessary tools will be provided along with a company van and fuel card to cover expenses.
