Copello have partnered with a leading aerospace manufacturer in Marlow who are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer - Automation to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in developing and maintaining automation systems and a passion for integrating robotics into precision manufacturing environments.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and maintain new automation and robotic systems for production environments.
- Support the introduction and commissioning of robotic cells into existing manufacturing lines.
- Work collaboratively with the Automation Engineer to enhance current automated solutions and optimize performance.
- Participate in product design reviews.
- Apply mechanical engineering knowledge to support the integration of automation systems with production equipment and tooling.
- Drive continuous improvement through root cause analysis, data-driven decision-making, and hands-on problem solving.
What You’ll Bring:
- Practical knowledge of industrial robotics, automation controls, and production automation.
- Hands-on experience introducing robotic cells into production lines and improving existing solutions (desirable).
- Mechanical engineering background (preferred), with either formal education or strong learned/hands-on experience.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.
- Experience developing products specifically for automated production (desirable).
