Role: AML / SAR Lead Analyst

Location: Manchester

In this role, you will:

Assist the I-SART Team Lead with administrative tasks, feedback, and tracking investigations and system requests
Conduct comprehensive investigations on complex cases, analyzing transaction data and open-source research
Support Specialist Investigators on large or complex cases
Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Security teams to gather and analyze investigation information
Draft timely, accurate recommendations for MLROs, aligned with policies and reporting requirements
Maintain a well-organized case file
Escalate activities to Legal and Compliance as needed
Support AML and financial crime projects

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Preferred: Graduate degree in Law, Business, or Intelligence Studies
Experience in AML/KYC/anti-fraud projects within financial institutions
Knowledge of Tax Evasion, Market Abuse, Sanctions, Anti-Bribery & Corruption, wire transfer investigations
ACAMS certification or equivalent
Experience in intelligence work in private or public sectors
