Role: AML / SAR Lead Analyst
Location: Manchester
In this role, you will:
- Assist the I-SART Team Lead with administrative tasks, feedback, and tracking investigations and system requests
- Conduct comprehensive investigations on complex cases, analyzing transaction data and open-source research
- Support Specialist Investigators on large or complex cases
- Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Security teams to gather and analyze investigation information
- Draft timely, accurate recommendations for MLROs, aligned with policies and reporting requirements
- Maintain a well-organized case file
- Escalate activities to Legal and Compliance as needed
- Support AML and financial crime projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Preferred: Graduate degree in Law, Business, or Intelligence Studies
- Experience in AML/KYC/anti-fraud projects within financial institutions
- Knowledge of Tax Evasion, Market Abuse, Sanctions, Anti-Bribery & Corruption, wire transfer investigations
- ACAMS certification or equivalent
- Experience in intelligence work in private or public sectors
