About the Role: We are seeking a Business Growth Manager (POS Focus) to drive our expansion in the UK market. This role is ideal for a dynamic, results-driven professional passionate about business development in the point-of-sale (POS) payments sector. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in acquiring new clients, growing market share, and strengthening our presence in the local payments ecosystem.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the payments industry, specifically in POS acquiring, and a deep understanding of payment solutions, merchant needs, and market trends. Reporting Line: This role reports directly to the Head of Sales UK (Acquiring).
Key Responsibilities:
- POS Payments Expertise - Develop a deep understanding of payabl.'s POS solutions, effectively communicating their value to prospective merchants.
- Sales Growth - Identify and secure new business opportunities within the POS sector through both traditional and digital sales channels.
- Market Research & Expansion - Analyze market trends, merchant needs, and competitor offerings to uncover new growth opportunities.
- Client Acquisition & Relationship Management - Build strong relationships with merchants, retailers, hospitality businesses, and service providers to drive POS adoption.
- End-to-End Sales Process - Lead sales presentations, negotiate contracts, onboard clients, and support their journey with payabl. POS solutions.
- Lead Generation - Proactively prospect and develop a strong pipeline of potential clients.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with internal teams, including product, risk, and operations, to ensure a seamless merchant experience.
- Target Achievement - Consistently meet and exceed sales and revenue targets.

- POS Payments Experience - At least 2 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in POS acquiring, payments, or fintech.
