Project Locations: Northwest & Midlands

Office Location: Manchester

Salary: £50k - £60k (experience depending)

My client is a leading commercial design & build company. They work with clients from initial consultation right through to delivery to shape workspaces that meet the needs of organisations and their people. They focus on building lasting client relationships and looking after their people whilst improving their ability to retain and attract the best talent in the industry.

The Company has typically put on a large focus on smaller CAT A & B refurb projects ranging from £250k - £2.5m; however, as they’re expanding, a larger focus is being put on commercial projects ranging up to £10m. This switch to larger projects is the reason they are looking to bring a new Senior Site Manager to the team, who has experience on larger commercial projects that involve structural alterations, civils and new build elements.

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Roaming Contracts Manager
  • Responsible for the day-to-day running and operations on site across all floors.
  • Responsible for management of construction across all floors, including sub-contractors.
  • Oversee health & safety, programme and quality control across the site.
  • Liaising with a range of professionals i.e. Designers, Consultants.
  • Management responsibilities for the enforcement of Health and Safety policies and procedures on site.
  • Commercial approach to manage project effectively.
  • Ensuring delivery of the project onsite to a high quality.

Requirements:

  • Previous Site Management experience.
  • Previous experience with commercial fit-out projects.
  • Previous experience with New build projects including civils & structural work across any sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong construction knowledge.
  • Teamwork and Commitment.
  • Site Management qualification.
  • Asbestos Awareness.
  • First Aid Trained.
