HRC Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with Scottish Leather Group, the UK’s largest leather manufacturer, in the search for a passionate and experienced Quality Excellence Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity to step into a deputy role to the Head of Quality, contributing to and influencing the long-term Quality strategy.

What You’ll Be Doing:

· Leading and developing a skilled team (Quality Technicians, Quality Engineers, Quality Improvement Lead)

· Embedding a proactive and data-led quality culture across the business

· Driving continuous improvement using RCA tools such as 8D, FMEA, and Ishikawa

· Implementing and managing robust quality systems aligned with IATF16949, AS9100, ISO9001

· Collaborating with departments including Operations, Innovation, H&S, Technical and Sales

· Leveraging data (Power BI, statistical analysis) to inform performance and improvement

· Coaching and developing your team while building a culture of quality excellence

What We’re Looking For:

· Minimum 5 years' experience in Quality Management and Operational Excellence/Continuous Improvement

· Degree in a relevant discipline and strong command of quality management systems

· Solid experience with root cause analysis, compliance, KPI development and project delivery

· Skilled communicator and collaborator with strong leadership capabilities

· Proficient in Power BI and data-led decision making

· Resilient, proactive and passionate about driving change
