This is an exciting time to be joining the Group, as we are on a significant growth trajectory and diversifying our current portfolio within Multi Utilities and Major Projects. Our overarching mission is to become one of the UK's leading service providers in each Doocey Group Division.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Foul Water and Clean Water Site Manager to oversee water infrastructure projects, ensuring high-quality delivery while maintaining health, safety, and environmental standards. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing site operations, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with UK regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage on-site operations for foul water and clean water projects.
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant UK water industry regulations and safety standards.
- Plan and coordinate resources, including labour, materials, and equipment.
- Supervise and manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Conduct site inspections and risk assessments to maintain safety and quality.
- Liaise with clients, local authorities, and project stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, programmes, budgets, and deadlines, reporting regularly to the Project Manager and Senior Management.
- Resolve any site-related issues to prevent delays and maintain safety and efficiency.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven experience in managing water infrastructure projects, specifically in foul and clean water systems including rising mains and pump stations.
- Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering, Water Management, or a related field.
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of UK water industry regulations and environmental standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Full UK driving license.
