Applications Engineer - Software

A fantastic opportunity has opened up for an Applications Engineer to join a growing, close-knit team within a specialist engineering environment. This role is ideal for someone with a technical background in mechanical engineering and a good understanding of CAD design, who enjoys working closely with both internal teams and external customers. Blackburn (Office Based) Salary: Up to £40k plus annual discretionary bonus Holiday: 20 days + bank holidays (rising to 23) What You’ll Be Doing as the Applications Engineer: Producing technical drawings and 3D models Mechanical engineering background or similar technical education ✔ Strong CAD experience, including 3D modelling ✔ Degree in Mechanical or Design Engineering (BA/BSc) You’ll have the chance to grow with the business, work on interesting projects, and genuinely make an impact day-to-day.
