Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage day-to-day legal operations, ensuring tasks are properly assigned and deadlines are met.
- Maintain and optimize internal legal workflows, documentation processes, and compliance tracking.
- Ensure smooth collaboration between legal, compliance, and other departments (finance, risk, payments, etc.).
- Act as the first escalation point for legal team members, resolving operational and administrative challenges.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with internal legal policies, contract templates, and documentation standards.
- Implement task management tools and reporting systems to track legal deliverables.
- Lead, manage, and develop the legal team by providing regular feedback, supporting skill development, setting clear performance expectations, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Assist in the preparation, organization, and review of contracts, agreements, and compliance documents.
- Coordinate regulatory filings, licensing renewals, and compliance submissions in collaboration with the CLO.
- Support KYC/AML compliance processes by coordinating between legal and compliance teams.
- Ensure proper record-keeping and version control for legal documents.
- Help manage external legal vendors and law firms when additional support is required.
- Ensure the legal team adheres to regulatory timelines and compliance obligations across multiple jurisdictions.
- Work closely with compliance specialists to track and document regulatory changes affecting fintech, gambling, and digital services.
- Identify and address inefficiencies in legal workflows to improve turnaround times and reduce bottlenecks.
- Assist in internal audits and legal risk assessments.
- Maintain legal dashboards and reporting structures to provide the CLO with real-time insights into legal operations.
- Work with finance, HR, compliance, and product teams to ensure legal processes align with business needs.
- Organize and oversee internal legal training sessions to keep team members updated on new procedures.
- Ensure legal team resources are effectively allocated based on project priorities.
What We Expect From You:
- 5+ years of experience in a legal operations, legal project management, or legal team coordination role.
- Experience working in regulated industries such as payments, gambling, fintech, or digital services is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines, track legal requests, and optimize workflows.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Experience with contract management systems, document tracking tools, and compliance software.
