About the Team
The Chief Data Office (CDO) is currently seeking a Data & Analytics Associate to join our Enterprise Data & Analytics team, based out of our London office. This role supports decision-making through insights and analytics across the Fitch Group. Our team operates globally with presence in London and New York, developing and executing solutions to help business units deliver results, including analytics to support revenue growth, product innovation, productivity gains, and enhancing the reputation of Fitch Group.
The team is looking to hire a Data & Analytics Associate to help take our analytics efforts to the next level using advanced analytics, machine learning and AI to deliver insights, uncover key trends and support our business intelligence platform. How You\’ll Make An Impact:
- Leverage Advanced Analytics : Utilize advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to extract meaningful insights from complex and disparate data sets.
- Design and Develop Dashboards : Create and maintain interactive and visually appealing dashboards to provide stakeholders with real-time access to key business metrics and insights.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders : Engage with various business units to gather requirements and ensure that BI solutions meet their analytical and reporting needs.
- Enhance BI Capabilities : Continuously improve the functionality and performance of BI tools, incorporating user feedback and staying informed about the latest features and updates in technology.
- Train and Support Users : Provide training and support to end-users to maximize the adoption and effective use of BI dashboards and tools.
- Identify Opportunities for Process Improvement : Analyze existing BI processes and workflows to identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains.
You May be a Good Fit if:
- Relevant Educational Background : Bachelor\’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Working knowledge of a programming language such as SQL, Python or R.
- Understanding of data management and relational databases : Familiarity with SQL and database management systems to efficiently query and manipulate data.
- Data Modelling and Analysis Skills : Strong ability to model, process, and analyse data, ensuring accuracy and relevance in reporting and insights.
