The role of the Compliance Office - Mortar, Screed & Cement Products will involve:
- Compliance Officer position, dealing with a high quality manufactured range of mortar, plaster and render
- Overseeing & continuing to develop the ISO9001, 14001 and 45001 management systems, arranging internal and 3rd party audits and assisting management with improvements arising from those
- Generate Safety Data Sheets & Environmental Product Declarations using specialist software (training provided)
- Submit relevant information on environmental duties to the regulator, such as packaging waste data
- Generate CE marks for the products, with support from the QC and management
- Create COSHH risk assessments for materials handled in the factory.
- Supervise the QC lab technician and provide cover on basic testing
The ideal applicant will be Compliance Office - Mortar, Screed & Cement Products with:
- Must have compliance experience with ISO 14001 & ISO 9001 standards
- Ideally dealing with related products such as; cement, mortar, screed, precast concrete, ready mix concrete, concrete admixtures, cement admixtures, chemicals admixtures, grouts and resins
- Ideally will be degree level educated with a background in science
- Positive, energetic and confident individual
- Driven, organised and personable
