Role description
This role will help shape Hometrack’s engagement and positioning with its mortgage lending customers. You will be the centre point for coordinating and producing content that provides insight, opinion and perspective on the UK mortgage and property market.
You will contribute to the success and growth of Hometrack by keeping us at the forefront of customers’ attention and by helping to articulate our role in the market.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Creating insights to engage our lending industry customers, prospects and the industry:
- Topics will include mortgage market commentary, property risk, valuation performance, property market trends.
- Topics will be sourced from multiple areas including Hometrack client analytics, product development and your own initiative/analysis.
- You will be expected to remain at the leading edge of the mortgage and property market development through proactive research and industry engagement.
- We expect content to be industry leading in both its insight and depth of analysis for use in client engagement, to support product innovation and driving business and brand reach within the mortgage lending and capital market industries.
Required skillsets
- Exceptional communication skills (particularly written) – an ability to make complex topics digestible and to distil the ‘so what’.
- Excellent data skills including an ability to conduct moderately complex analysis and to understand highly complex analysis.
- An understanding of and an interest in the property and mortgage industries (ideally both but minimum of 1 of the 2).
- Self-starter and good relationship builder – able to build relationships across the organisation and with clients; able to work independently with (at times) limited support.
