At an exciting time to join Score’s team based in Hull, we are looking for a Project Engineer to be the main interface between Score Group and their clients. This role is based at the Saltend Chemical Park, Saltend Lane, Hull. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual with a sound technical knowledge and a good commercial acumen. The successful candidate will be a great communicator with proven experience in stakeholder management both internally and externally.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures, standards and work instructions.
  • Provide immediate support to all disciplines and interface function for all aspects of Score and customer organisations for all related activities.
  • Maximisation of all opportunities and development of contractual work scope to continuously improve the working relationships with customer base.
  • Coordination of the planning process and contract performance to ensure delivery against contractual and internal KPI’s and monthly/quarterly performance meetings.
  • Attendance at client’s premises on a weekly or bi-weekly basis as required by the client including the promotion of Score Group of services and new technologies.
  • Management of all new supply activities including approval of purchase requisitions, documentation (Pro-Arc), maintenance of client specific requirements and resolution QA queries.
  • Management and reporting of all PSV recertification and campaign activities.
  • Management and reporting of general valve, actuator and PSV repair activities.
  • Management, planning, preparation, and execution of all offshore work and compiling of CTR’s, initial work packs and approval / submittal of close out reports.
  • Approval of all invoicing in accordance with the authorisation limits & financial review of job performance.
  • Approval, accuracy, and submission of status reports as per client’s requirements.
  • Submission and checking of monthly or quarterly performance reports as required within the applicable contracts.
  • Management of work in progress (WIP) and ensuring the document is maintained and up to date all times.
  • Management and updating of the Score Internal client Contract Management Plans.
  • Any other reasonable duties as required to meet the needs of the business.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience in a technical or engineering environment (ideally within the valve industry).
  • Experience in a previous focal point or customer support role.
  • Sound working knowledge of MS Office packages, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
