Location: 2-3 days in the HQ (Buckinghamshire)

Salary: £55,000–£65,000 + 20% Bonus + Excellent Benefits (Matched pension up to 7%, Private Medical Insurance, 25 days annual leave)

Are you a commercially driven procurement professional with a passion for IT & Technology sourcing? We’re partnering with a leading UK organisation seeking a Procurement Category Manager to lead strategic procurement initiatives across IT infrastructure, software, and digital services. This is an exciting opportunity to influence tech strategy, deliver long-term value, and work closely with senior stakeholders across the business.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead the IT & Technology procurement strategy across the Group
  • Manage sourcing across categories including SaaS, infrastructure, telecoms, cloud, and Managed services
  • Lead end-to-end sourcing activity: tendering, negotiation, contracting
  • Identify opportunities to streamline the tech supply base and optimise commercial value
  • Work cross-functionally with IT, legal, finance and digital teams to align on strategic goals

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong experience in IT/Technology Procurement (infrastructure, software, licensing, etc.)
  • Commercially astute with strong contract negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Comfortable managing high-value, complex sourcing projects
  • A relationship builder, confident in stakeholder engagement across tech and non-tech functions
  • Ideally CIPS-qualified or working towards
