Founded in 1875, the Nicholls and Clarke Group have grown to become the UK’s largest national manufacturer and distributor of bathroom/kitchen healthcare products, fine quality sanitary ware, ceramic and porcelain wall and floor tiles, Nicobond tile adhesives, grouting, and floor levelling compounds. Being field-based, you will not be situated in an office, although you will have a main distribution centre that will support you and help you grow your sales.

This excellent opportunity is ideal for an outgoing, engaging, and friendly Sales professional with previous experience working field based, visiting client sites daily. You must be prepared to travel daily and hold a valid UK driving licence. You will ideally have experience in the Construction industry; however, we are happy to train you to understand the features, benefits and installation of our products.

Role responsibilities for the Regional / Field Sales Representative:

  • Being field-based, you will be travelling to visit client offices and sites in Devon & Cornwall (will include Bristol & Gloucestershire).
  • Selling our extensive range of high-quality Phlexicare products.
  • Providing clients with samples of products.
  • Ensuring retention, as well as growth, of business.
  • Finding and bringing on new customers, which will attract additional bonuses.
  • Maintaining a sense of enthusiasm and commitment.
  • Providing consistent, excellent customer service.

What will you sell and to whom? You will be selling our Phlexicare range, which offers independent living products including level access and wetroom showering products. Products to sell include domestic & commercial sanitaryware and healthcare products, ceramic and porcelain tiles, Nicobond adhesives, grouting compounds and screeds, tiling systems, wetrooms, architectural ironmongery and general hardware. Our customer base includes building contractors, maintenance companies, disabled adaptation specialists, regional house developers, housing associations and local authorities.

Who are we looking for?

  • Previous experience within a similar field-based sales role.
  • You must have a full UK driving licence and be happy being field-based, on the road daily.
  • Prior experience within the construction industry or RTM preferred.
  • A commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Friendly, engaging, and approachable.
