My client has the requirement for an Internal Export Account Exec / Business Developer to work 5 days per week in the Dorset Office. The client is an established Medical Equipment supplier with an appetite for export growth that they are backing with the recruitment of key members of the export team to drive the sales forwards. We invite applications from account executives from any industry that can meet the spec.
Key Parts of the Role
- Connecting with new opportunities and reinvigorating old contacts to introduce new products.
- Introducing the company to targeted business partners and key market players on Teams and Zoom.
- Creating a planned communication strategy to existing distributors who might be spending zero or small amounts up to the larger spenders.
- Negotiating and 'pricing to win' whilst attempting to maintain co margins.
- Completing export tenders and following up until the result is known.
- Completing and helping to complete export paperwork, packing lists, bills of laden and freight info.
- Using the company CRM system to its full potential to ensure customers and prospective customers are on marketing circulars and ensuring that opportunities are fully logged and fed back into the company forecast.
The Ideal Person
- Experienced in international business development and happy to work internally 5 days. (this is not a travelling role)
- A tenacious character who can develop business and also deal with the requirements of mundane paperwork and CRM.
- In it for the long run! Not afraid to ask for pricing support for volume.
- Strategic in nature and great at communicating both internally and externally. (great first impression)
- Experienced in equipment sales ideally or associated capital product sales.
Remuneration
- Up to £40k pa basic
- Possible commission approx £8.5k
