A leading international legal and financial services provider is seeking a Funds Lawyer to join its high-performing Funds & Investment Management team in London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented associate to work on some of the most sophisticated investment fund matters in the market, with a blue-chip client base comprising top-tier European fund managers and their onshore counsel.
You will be advising clients on the full lifecycle of Cayman Islands investment vehicles, including hedge funds, hybrid funds, and private equity structures. The role offers excellent scope for client exposure, business development, and long-term career progression within a collegiate, growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Advising on fund formation, structuring, regulatory compliance, ongoing maintenance, and termination of Cayman Islands investment vehicles
- Working closely with leading fund managers, sponsors, and their legal advisers across a wide range of alternative investment strategies
- Contributing to business development initiatives and representing the firm in market-facing opportunities
- Supporting complex cross-border transactions alongside global colleagues
What We’re Looking For
- 1–4 years’ post-qualification experience in investment funds, financial regulation, or corporate law
- Background in a top-tier law firm or highly regarded funds practice
- Strong academic credentials and excellent drafting and communication skills
- A commercial mindset, with a collaborative approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced international environment
