The Opportunity
Insulation Supervisor working on a shutdown at SSE Peterhead Power Station. The work will commence from late May until late August.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct point of contact for the insulation team to try and resolve any issues on the work face
- Responsible for delivery of insulation plan
- Provision of daily progress updates to KAEFER focal point and client representatives
- Actively managing material levels, demonstrating proactive approach
- Assigning tasks for the day to the team of insulators
- Motivate and encourage team members to meet deadlines
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Strong knowledge of insulation materials and techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and insulation specifications
- Excellent leadership, communication & organisational skills
- Strong safety leadership
- Strong time management skills to allow deadlines to be met
- Good attention to detail
- Experience working in Petro-chemical facilities and shutdown operations
Requirements of role:
- TICA card – In date
- Industry experience - Minimum 5 years
- 7 day working week. 10hr shifts. 12 day working fortnight.
