Job Purpose (Role Definition): To manage the Company’s existing and future neonatal ventilation product range, throughout all stages of the product lifecycle: inception, launch, sustaining events, end of production, and end of life. The role requires close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, R&D, RA/QA, service teams, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to ensure that products are launched within desired timelines and sales targets are met.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage a strategic product roadmap for the neonatal ventilation product range;
- Gather market data to support new product ideas and development;
- Draw insights from research and feedback to further develop the product range and product positioning;
- Create, develop, present, and maintain product roadmap to drive new product development;
- Drive lifecycle of products from ‘cradle to grave’ with detailed launch plans that include market analysis through to end-of-life plans;
- Work with R&D to prioritize roadmap delivery plans;
- Work with R&D to create and release detailed user documents such as user needs documents and marketing requirements document based on market research;
- Help create specification documents for the development of the product line;
- Help R&D create usability test case scenarios with the aid of clinical education for the further development of the product range;
- Help develop pricing strategy for range extensions and new products;
- Deliver sales training, clinical arguments, supporting data, objection handling, customer concerns, and FAQs relating to the product portfolio;
- Provide product support to training partners, sales team, service team, distributors, and customers on the use of products as needed;
- Draw insights from business trends, competitor analysis, and customer feedback that can be derived into User Needs and a Product Development Matrix;
- Attend and participate in congresses and industry events related to our target market space;
- Work to develop relationships with KOLs to provide informative feedback on market activity and upcoming trends;
- Participate in strategic product planning meetings;
- Organise and attend product development meetings;
- Produce blog articles, White Papers, and Sales & Marketing Update documents as required;
- Liaise with Marketing to ensure that up-to-date product literature is available;
- Help to plan sales promotions as needed;
- Assist in identifying opportunities for social media and website campaigns, that will lead to an increase in product awareness and sales opportunities;
- Work with the Clinical team to develop an online training platform to be used internally and externally;
- Work with the Clinical teams to create and maintain the product claims matrix;
- Liaise with Supply Chain, Finance, and other areas of the business as required for product development and support;
- Submit monthly reports on past month’s activities & goals, reporting and providing analysis on sales revenues and margins, future activities and events, etc.
