Full time: 37.5 hours per week

Schedule: Monday to Friday - Rotational shifts 8am to 7pm

We have an exciting opportunity for an Interventional Radiology Coordinator to join the LOC. You will contribute to the effective and efficient management of booking Interventional Radiology procedures by scheduling patients directly onto Meditech.

What you’ll do:

  • Obtain essential information from the Consultant’s secretary in order to create a one-stop booking service.
  • The scheduler is responsible for the understanding of patient scheduling and procedure knowledge.
  • Liaise with and influence hospital teams, medical secretaries, and consultants to ensure accurate data capture and ensure all relevant parties comply.
  • Continuously evaluate business processes to enhance and promote best practice and standardization and improve the patient journey.
  • Act as a point of contact for all Interventional Radiology booking & process queries.
  • Drive business growth for all payor types.
  • Lead and manage Interventional Radiology bookings in collaboration with all clinical departments to enable the team to function in a strategic and operational manner.

What you’ll bring:

  • Previous admin experience within a similar role in healthcare is essential.
  • Grasp of basic medical terminology.
