About the Team: As a Solution Consultant II, you will report to the Solution Consulting Manager within a team based in the UK, assisting the Mid Market sales team as they sell to small to midsize life sciences companies worldwide. You will develop relationships with internal colleagues and customers to contribute to planning, opportunity discovery conversations, solution presentations, demonstrations, and respond to customer requests. Your role is fully remote but may require travel to a Medidata office to meet job requirements. Responsibilities: Conduct discovery sessions to define customer\’s critical business issues and use this knowledge to position the value of the Medidata platform. Prepare and deliver value-based presentations to all levels of the customer organization, including standard and customized product demonstrations. Understand customer technical infrastructure and business processes to become a trusted advisor. Develop the technical strategy internally with the sales team and externally align with customer executives on joint execution plans to ensure successful workshops, proof of concepts, pilots, and evaluations. Travel within Europe and potentially globally as part of your role. Qualifications: Bachelor\’s degree required in Life Sciences, Engineering, Business, or Computer Science preferred; relevant education or equivalent experience in the clinical trials sector is acceptable. Solid experience in the life sciences industry, clinical trials, medical/clinical operations, or equivalent experience. This role is eligible for a commission according to applicable plan documents.
