Qualifications

1. MSc/BSc Acoustics/Noise and Vibration
2. Commercial experience in acoustics consultancy
3. A proven track record in effective project and financial management
4. Highly organised and IT literate
5. Exhibit excellent communication skills
6. Ability to write fluent and intelligible reports, placing a high emphasis on accuracy and consistency
7. Personal experience of Noise Modeling using a recognized software package
8. Strong project and people management skills are essential

Duties

1. Architectural Acoustics
2. Building services noise control
3. Noise and Vibration monitoring and assessment
4. Acoustic modelling
5. Façade design to control external noise intrusion
6. Sound insulation and measurement
7. Acoustic Design and Advice
8. Analysing impact of transport infrastructure on masterplanning
9. Providing technical guidance for schools and universities to comply with building regulations
10. Critical planning stage assessment and acoustic tests to measure floor and wall performance
