37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year with 25 days annual leave, plus Bank Holidays.

Due to a significant growth in student numbers at our college, we are excited to announce the creation of a new role within our Student Services Team. Are you a dedicated professional, driven by a passion for safeguarding and student welfare? We are thrilled to present an exciting opportunity for an experienced, dynamic individual to join us as a Safeguarding and Welfare Team Leader, who will also serve as the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead. This pivotal role is essential in cultivating a safe and nurturing environment for our students, focusing on their well-being and academic triumphs. If you thrive in a fast-paced and ever-evolving setting where adaptability is key, we want to hear from you!

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Empathy paired with clear boundaries, becoming a role model for students during their most challenging times
  • Unwavering commitment to excellence in all facets of college life
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills to support students facing complex challenges that may hinder their academic journey
  • A proven history of outstanding performance in intensive pastoral care roles
  • Previous experience of working with young people is required.

  • An energetic, proactive approach with superb organisational skills
  • Expertise in Safeguarding and Prevent strategies
  • Background as a Deputy/Designated Safeguarding Lead
