The Project
As a Site Engineer, you will carry out setting out and engineering duties on Environmental Agency work across Yorkshire & Lincolnshire.
Requirements
- CSCS Card
- Driving Licence
- HNC or Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Happy to travel to various sites across West & South Yorkshire & North Lincolnshire
For this role it is desirable that you hold the following skills & experience:
- 4 years + as a Setting Out / Site Engineer on Civil Engineering schemes
The Role
Duration: Permanent
Reporting to: Site Manager
Duties
- Supervising Works
- Attend in-house progress meetings
- Setting up and maintaining site control
- Setting Out Sites and Organising Facilities
- Ensuring compliance with works standards
- Checking deliveries before being signed for
- Setting out and surveying of the site
- To attend Team Briefs & carry out briefings when needed
- Aid in organising and supervise temporary works when required
- Setting out for Civil Engineering packages on environmental agency projects
- Checking and Preparing Site Reports, Designs and Drawings
- Liaising With Clients, Subcontractors and Other Professional Staff
- Ensure work is completed to the correct quality
- Ensure site progress pictures are taken and filed during each stage of the development
