Our client is a global business focusing on innovative energy solutions to support sustainability and decarbonisation. They were established in 2009 and offer services to help businesses optimize energy usage and contribute to a greener, more resilient electricity grid. This is a Junior Programme Analyst position on the Energy Markets team. Itβs a 9β12-month contract, based in Dublin or London, and involves a hybrid work model (some days in the office, some from home).
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Enrolment & Portfolio Management
- Oversee settlement processes to ensure accurate payments from Transmission System Operators (TSOs) and generate payment files for clients.
- Support updates and improvements to settlement procedures.
- Understand and apply grid rules for selected energy flexibility programmes in the UK and Ireland.
- Execute customer enrolment processes and implement auction strategies for flexibility markets.
- Analyse customer energy data to support accurate nominations and optimise the energy portfolio.
- Coordinate with TSOs to schedule audits, testing, and other site activities.
- Support the full testing process of customer sites from start to finish.
- Conduct ad hoc data analysis to assist Programme Managers in decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to improve and streamline portfolio and operational processes.
- Assist with market auctions and tenders through detailed market research and analysis.
- Contribute to the development of scalable, efficient processes and promote continuous improvement.
- Foster strong collaboration across teams to ensure successful programme execution.
