As a Junior Content Strategist for the client’s in-house brand studio, you will be responsible for supporting the content strategists in developing concepts and creative approaches for branded content campaigns on behalf of the client’s advertising partners. You will work closely with the Lead Content Strategist and Senior Content Strategist to provide research on clients, stories, and talent, as well as content references. This includes sourcing third-party insights and audience data, along with the client’s own audience insights, as directed. Over time, you will be supported in developing your own proposals. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of storytellers and content creators, including Designers, Producers, Writers, and Project Managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research on prospective clients, including their existing brand communications and content partnerships.
- Source imagery and content references to support the team’s proposals.
- Gather third-party insights and data, and use internal systems to retrieve relevant client-owned data and audience insights.
- Assist in the development of proposal decks and written campaign proposals, with guidance from the Senior Strategist and Strategy Lead.
- Support in creating production packs for the post-sale team, again under the guidance of senior strategists.
Additional Responsibilities
The EMEA Junior Content Strategist will play a key role in supporting the wider strategy team in shaping creative concepts for branded content campaigns. They will be accountable for:
- Ensuring all research is fact-checked and sourced from reputable outlets.
- Clearly citing and linking all research, data, and insights within documents.
- Delivering all research, data, and insights in a timely manner, meeting agreed deadlines.
- Developing and drafting proposals and production packs with support from the Senior Strategist and Strategy Lead.
Essential Requirements
- 1+ years’ experience as a Researcher or Junior Strategist.
- Strong research and writing skills.
- Comfortable working within guidelines and upholding high editorial standards.
- A good understanding of content channels and effective distribution methods (e.g. social platforms, SEO, advertising formats).
- Previous experience at an international media publisher and/or international organisation preferred.
Desirable Skills
- Above-average writing and communication skills.
- General knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and other production tools.
