We are looking for a technically minded and proactive Digital Operations Executive to support the project management & digital advertising operations teams. Reporting to the Digital Operations Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing tagging implementation, maintaining GTM containers, and ensuring consistent and accurate tracking across a wide range of digital campaigns. You will also manage external tagging implementation and ensure that the appropriate procedures are followed. You’ll provide hands-on support to project managers with admin-related tasks such as CMS updates, task tracking, and creating spreadsheets to log client feedback and amends, as well as building tagging sheets and ensuring that these are accurate and suitable for individual clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement, audit, and troubleshoot tags across websites using GTM.
- Collaborate with analytics and media teams to define and deploy tracking requirements.
- Maintain consistent tracking standards and documentation for pixels, events, and data layers.
- Complete the setup and QA of digital advertising pixels across multiple platforms in GTM (for Meta, CM360, Google Ads, TikTok etc.).
- Assist with debugging tracking issues using tools like Tag Assistant and browser developer tools.
- Manage GTM containers, testing environments, and publish working changes in GTM.
- Assist in the audit and validation of conversion tracking and campaign performance data.
- Support Project Managers with administrative tasks, including meeting coordination, agenda preparation, and documentation.
- Assist with tracking project timelines, deliverables, and milestones.
- Manage project-related documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
- Help organise team meetings and follow up on action items to maintain project momentum.
- Support budget tracking and reporting for digital projects.
Essential Skills
- Strong understanding of GTM, tagging structure, and pixel setup best practices.
- Confident using browser debugging tools and tag QA extensions and developer tools to help identify and resolve issues.
- Ability to understand niche tracking requirements and turn them into actionable tag implementation strategies.
- Working collaboratively with media, analytics, and dev teams to deliver precise tracking setups.
- Prioritise responsibilities based on business objectives and deliver high-impact results, with the ability to move freely across varying tasks.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
- The candidate will develop their understanding of various digital media platforms, as well as gain knowledge of relevant legislation and compliance requirements as they evolve.
- Ad-hoc tasks from the wider digital team may be given as required that might seem outside this scope of work.

As a Digital Executive, you will be a key member of the AKA Digital team, working closely with:
- Digital Ad Operations Lead: Collaborate on tag strategy, platform integrations, and QA processes.
- Project Managers: Provide administrative support, ensure project milestones are met, and help maintain project momentum.
- Digital Team: Coordinate on tracking placement, code deployment and collation, and technical troubleshooting.
Your contributions will directly impact data accuracy, campaign measurement, and the operational smoothness of our digital strategies.
