Central Employment are working in partnership with an established and expanding managed services provider based in Teesside, as they look for a commercially focused Business Development Manager to drive further growth, selling their full suite of managed services, connectivity and cloud solutions.
The primary role of a Business Development Manager is to sell the group's Managed Services to new clients based in the North East of England. It is essential to have a good knowledge and understanding of how to sell technologies and services, ideally from the Tech/IT or Software sectors. Working closely with prospects and consulting them through the process ensuring they get the best value services and products they require.
Main responsibilities:
- Respond to inbound sales and new business enquiries
- Cold outreach (social, phone and some canvassing) gaining new customers
- Attend sales meetings and maximise sales to customers
- Account Management of your own customer database - sales, after sales
- Increase revenue from your own customer base by up-sell and cross-sell (additional IT services, solutions, or connectivity solutions)
- Handle enquiries regarding upgrades, cross-selling and customer deals.
Essential experience:
- You must have B2B Sales experience of at least 3 years
- An interest in IT and Technology
- A proven and demonstrable track record of bringing in new customers
- Excellent communication skills, both written and orally
- Strong interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on customer satisfaction and relationship management
