Source Solutions are working closely with a key client within the energy and infrastructure sector, to identify a proactive Quality Engineer, to play a key role on a range of projects and programmes of works across Central London with a focus on rail engineering projects (mostly London Underground).
The Quality Engineer role will involve a mix of locations across company and client offices and sites across London, reaching to Heathrow which will include stakeholder visits across the regions - therefore the Quality Engineer needs to be flexible and adaptable in order to keep up with a fast-paced and changeable environment and workload.
The overarching purpose of the Quality Engineer role is to provide competent quality management advice to Managers, staff, contractors, clients and the general public to promote the requirements of the quality management system meeting the requirements of ISO 9001: 2015 as well as providing insights and input during tendering processes where required.
The position requires an experienced Quality Engineer / Advisor / Manager, with a background in working to and providing guidance on adherence to CDM regulations within a rail engineering environment (preferably LUL), with the ability to help in the drive towards continuous improvement on site and in office.
The ideal Quality Engineer candidate will:
- Hold Chartership (MCQI) status
- Possess experience working on London Underground / rail engineering projects
- Ideally hold Lead or Internal Auditor certification / experience
- Have worked across complex multi-disciplinary construction projects and possess strong knowledge on CDM requirements
