The Role
As a Money and Debt Advice Manager, you will lead the delivery of our client’s FCA-regulated money guidance and debt advice services for their beneficiaries across the UK. Specifically, you will manage a team staffing a free, confidential, and expert debt advice and money guidance services, ensuring advice is delivered to the highest quality and remains fully FCA compliant. Your team will support individuals in horticulture to tackle money worries, identifying tailored debt solutions that promote long-term financial wellbeing. You will also oversee the continuous development and improvement of the service and skills within the team, championing new initiatives that enhance impact and efficiency, and managing reporting requirements in line with FCA standards.
- Foster a positive and high-performing team culture across a multi-channel, remote working environment
- Oversee quality assurance, compliance, and risk management across service delivery
- Support staff development and ensure the team delivers consistently high standards
- Work with senior leadership to measure and strengthen the long-term outcomes of financial interventions
- Embed preventative money services and financial capability models across all areas of support
About You
To be considered as a Money and Debt Advice Manager, you will need:
- At least three years’ experience within a money and debt service delivery environment
- At a minimum, two years’ experience within an FCA-regulated environment, including managing quality and compliance
- Good experience of line managing a team, with an understanding of managing dispersed remote teams
- Significant evidence of working with adults or families with complex needs to deliver outcome-focused money advice interventions
- Technical debt counselling and money advice knowledge
- A Certificate in Money Advice Practice or equivalent
