As the Technical Lead for the Onboard Experience Team, you will collaborate with a team of Android and full-stack engineers to shape the software experience for autonomous vehicle operators. You will guide technical strategy and execution, contributing to the development of reliable, scalable, and user-centered software.
Challenges You Will Own:- Technical Leadership: Collaborate with the team to shape the technical vision and guide the architecture and implementation of the team’s software solutions.
- Collaboration and Innovation: Partner with teams across the organization to solve unique challenges and create solutions that enhance the onboard experience.
- System Scalability and Reliability: Drive the development of scalable, maintainable systems with a strong emphasis on testing, observability, and performance.
- Developing for Unique Environments: Optimize solutions for unique compute and networking constraints.
- Hands-On Testing with Users: Spend time in vehicles, testing changes directly as a passenger, and work with operators to gather feedback.
- Safety and Regulatory Excellence: Ensure compliance with critical safety requirements and regulatory constraints.
- Innovation and Problem Solving: Apply your technical expertise to address complex challenges and design user-focused solutions.
