We’re recruiting interns to join our 12-Month University Placement Scheme supporting our diverse Marketing Teams in the UK and Ireland. As a Marketing intern, you’ll have the unique opportunity to contribute to a variety of projects across our Field Marketing, Events and Communications teams. Your role and responsibilities

  • Field Marketing Support: Assist in the planning and execution of a broad spectrum of digital and, when appropriate, face-to-face marketing campaigns. Utilize Excel for data tracking and pivot table creation to monitor campaign performance. Maintain up-to-date records in the UKI Event Execution Management System. Manage the marketing storeroom and online portal, handling the logistics of marketing assets.
  • Events Coordination: Collaborate on the organization of diverse events, ranging from virtual to in-person experiences. Offer on-site support at physical events, aiding in event execution and post-event follow-ups. Use of event management tools. Analyse event metrics to derive valuable insights and improve future events.
  • Communications Support: Contribute to internal and external communications efforts, including managing news headlines, intranet pages, and social activities. Assist in creating engaging content for campaigns, including videos, social media assets, and written blogs. Support key corporate events and aid in the production of press releases and client stories. Analyse data to gauge the effectiveness of communications strategies and tactics.

Alongside all roles there is a requirement for general administrative tasks to support the teams such as scheduling meetings, organising content and management of event-related tasks as they come in ad-hoc.

  • Pre-University Qualification

Required technical and professional expertise

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the flexibility to adapt messages for diverse audiences.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities, capable of working effectively in a remote team environment.
  • Eagerness to solve problems and take ownership of tasks, demonstrating initiative and strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Capacity to analyse and interpret data for actionable insights.
  • Passion for technology: You stay up to date with the latest technology trends, keeping abreast of the latest tools, methodologies and platforms.

This is an undergraduate position and as such you should also meet the following criteria:

  • Studying at a UK University
  • Completing an undergraduate degree and on track for a 2:1 (minimum)
  • Due to graduate in 2027 (you must return to complete your final year of university after your placement ends)
  • Live within a commutable distance of your base location. You will be required on site for a minimum of 3 days per week.
  • Eligible to work in the UK full time for the duration of your internship (e.g. British or Irish Passport / Tier 4 Student VISA / EU Settled or Pre-Settled Status)
