About the Role

We’re hiring for a Software Engineer (.Net/AWS) to join a leading financial services company. This role is key in designing and developing cloud-native applications, with a strong focus on .NET C# back-end services, AWS cloud infrastructure, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). You’ll work in a collaborative, agile environment, driving modernisation and transformation initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:

  1. 5+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in the finance sector.
  2. Strong knowledge of AWS services and hands-on experience with IaC (AWS CDK, Terraform, etc.).
  3. Proficiency in automated testing frameworks and unit testing best practices.
  4. Expertise in containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud-native development.
  5. Experience working in agile environments with an agile mindset.
  6. Strong grasp of database design (SQL & NoSQL) and parallel computing.
  7. Familiarity with Git for version control and JIRA for backlog management.
  8. Excellent problem-solving skills and communication skills—both written and verbal.

Why Join Us?

  1. Work on cutting-edge cloud solutions in a dynamic, forward-thinking team.
  2. Join a leading financial services company with exciting modernisation projects.
  3. Flexible hybrid working model (2–3 days in our Liverpool Street office).
  4. Competitive salary and benefits package.
