The Bristol team is expanding and is looking to appoint a Senior Landscape Architect with a focus on landscape planning and LVIA. The role sits within a multidisciplinary environment and will involve working on a wide range of projects, particularly in the residential and renewable energy sectors.

You will contribute to the delivery of robust landscape assessments, assist in shaping planning strategy, and play an active role in managing client relationships. The role offers a high level of autonomy, along with support for continued progression.

  • Leading and contributing to LVIAs, feasibility appraisals, and site assessments
  • Working closely with planning consultants, ecologists, and urban designers
  • Engaging with clients, reviewing briefs, and managing project timelines
  • Supporting junior team members and contributing to team development
  • Helping to drive best practices across technical delivery and commercial performance

You’ll be a commercially aware and technically strong Landscape Architect who enjoys working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. You should have experience in landscape planning and LVIA, ideally gained within consultancy.

Key requirements include:

  • A relevant qualification in Landscape Architecture (e.g., MA, MLA, or equivalent)
  • Proven experience delivering LVIAs and landscape inputs for planning
  • Strong writing, presentation, and communication skills
  • A proactive mindset and confidence in dealing with clients and local authorities
  • Chartered status (CMLI) is preferred, but those on the pathway will also be considered
