Customer Experience (CX) are recruiting for a BI Product Owner on a Part Time, permanent basis. Reporting into the Data Strategy Manager, you will be the Product Owner of Power BI for VWG UK. You will work to enable the utilisation of Power BI across the business to maximise benefit. As part of this, you will be managing the Power BI Centre of Excellence, and the associated engagement and governance processes.
Skills & Experience You Can Bring to the Role:
- Advanced knowledge of Power BI
- Experience of a data querying and management programming language (e.g. SQL)
- Knowledge of data and reporting cataloguing and governance principles
- Problem-solving abilities - using creative thinking to drive better solutions
- Ability to clearly communicate about data to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Having a methodical approach, with high attention to detail
- Proven team player, taking ownership of issues and proactively working to resolve them
- Able to work in an agile way (iterative developments, able to pivot and change focus)
- Strong stakeholder management, ensuring adherence to process
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment

What Does a Typical Week in the Role Look Like?
A typical week in this role will involve a lot of collaboration, problem solving, and strategic communication. The types of tasks you will support will vary greatly and will include:
- Supporting the Centre of Excellence team on complex Power BI development requirements
- Guiding the team to ensure our dashboards and reports are both insightful and user-friendly
- Working closely with a range of internal partners, including the IT departments in the UK and Germany, to update and enhance our Power BI implementation, integrating new features and optimizing performance
- Engaging with the brands and group functions to ensure our governance processes are well understood and adhered to, fostering a culture of data integrity and compliance
- Reporting and presenting to senior management across the group, highlighting our delivery milestones and the tangible benefits realized through Power BI
