This position sits in our UKI Experience & Engineering business unit, and will be London based. Our team combines technology and experience design to create emotive yet conversion-focused ideas, products and campaigns at scale and speed. Our specialty are digital experiences and communication that change perceptions and shape new behaviours to make a difference in the market.
JOB PURPOSE
This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the fastest-growing digital agencies in the world. As part of the UKI Sales & Strategic Alliances team, the Strategic Alliances Manager is responsible for helping to develop, implement and drive the new business ‘channel sales’ strategy to drive net new sales and build our partner relationships. You’ll do this by leveraging your ability to cultivate and nurture relationships with our most important technology and strategic partnerships, strategise on tactics to expand our position within our partner ecosystems and uncover new business via our partners. This role requires a self-motivated individual who can manage a portfolio of technology Partners across a territory to build strategic alliances and partnerships between DEPT and the Partner channel. This person will be the interface between the two organisations. This is a business development and relationship management role that is responsible for business generated by the portfolio of channel partners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build trusted relationships with DEPT’s key technology platform partners in the region, be it Salesforce, Shopify, Adobe and others. This includes field sales, partner management, as well as technology enablement and supporting teams.
- Internal comms is also a focus, and this person will be required to provide stakeholders with a better understanding of the value of alliances, reporting back to the business about the impact our alliances have on our growth.
- You are responsible for developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with both global and regional partners, to jointly drive significant revenue growth within the UKI/EMEA region.
- You are highly knowledgeable of our partners’ propositions, products, markets, business opportunities and customer opportunities, and will work closely with partners to uncover and drive new revenue opportunities.
- Support UK Business Development and consultancy teams around partner-specific requests and communications.
- Writing briefs/newsletters to share our progress with our key partners (internal/external).
- Act as the facilitator between partners and internal teams, to resolve and/or anticipate future issues/challenges.
- Work with our internal marketing teams to develop marketing and lead-generation activities with our partners.
- On occasion, you’ll support marketing with event planning, execution and outreach as and when required.
- You will be measured on the number of alliance-generated sales qualified leads generated and influenced revenue; you’ll be expected to support sales across Dept, through the creation of tactical messaging, campaign tooling, events and collateral.
