About the Role
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Bid Designer to join our client's dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing compelling, high-quality bid and tender materials that effectively communicate our value proposition and secure new business opportunities. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring all design work aligns with brand guidelines while enhancing clarity and visual impact. Key Responsibilities
- Bid & Proposal Design
- Design and format professional bid documents, tender submissions, and proposal materials to ensure readability, consistency, and brand alignment.
- Develop visually compelling infographics, diagrams, and charts to simplify technical or commercial content.
- Create polished presentation decks for pitches, ensuring a strong narrative flow and persuasive visual storytelling.
- Branding & Consistency
- Maintain and enforce brand identity across all bid materials, including typography, colour schemes, and imagery.
- Develop and refine templates to streamline the bid creation process while ensuring a cohesive look and feel.
- Collaboration & Strategy
- Work closely with bid managers, commercial teams, and subject matter experts to translate technical content into visually appealing designs.
- Partner with architects, designers, and project teams to integrate design concepts into proposals, ensuring feasibility and alignment with client expectations.
- Client-Centric Design
- Interpret client requirements and tailor design solutions to meet their objectives, preferences, and industry standards.
- Support pitch presentations by preparing high-impact visuals, including concept sketches, mood boards, and digital renderings where needed.
- Innovation & Best Practices
- Stay updated on design trends, competitor approaches, and industry standards to ensure our submissions stand out.
- Recommend creative solutions that enhance bid quality while balancing aesthetics, functionality, and cost efficiency.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in graphic design, preferably within bid/proposal design, marketing, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong layout, typography, and data visualization skills with an eye for detail.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with non-design stakeholders.
- Knowledge of print and digital production processes is a plus.
