Irwin and Colton are pleased to have been engaged by a leader in the Transport Industry who are looking to recruit a Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Business Partner (Transport). This position plays a crucial role in the organisations efforts to control and reduce collisions, incidents, and near misses. This role promotes a positive health, safety, and environmental culture across the organisation whilst contributing to upholding the highest standards of workplace transport safety.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the competent advice in matters of Transport Safety to support compliance and achieve a positive culture.
- Visiting sites to conduct audits and inspections, and answer any health, safety, and environmental related queries.
- Ensuring policies and procedures are reviewed and updated, completing accident investigations as required.
- Handle all matters related to Health and Safety and Transport Safety initiatives promptly, professionally, and in a manner that best serves the interests of the organisation.
Requirements:
- Proven health, safety and environmental experience within transport, heavy industrial environments, logistics or facilities management industries.
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent (essential) and relevant membership of IOSH.
- Class 2 license (desirable).
- Proven experience implementing ISO-Management Systems.
