As Tree Administration Officer, you’ll be the first point of contact for all correspondence and enquiries relating to the Tree Service – from members of the public, local councillors, MPs and internal colleagues. Your role will ensure enquiries are handled efficiently, professionally and within corporate timescales. You’ll support the day-to-day administration of our tree operations – issuing works orders, tracking progress, supporting budget management, and preparing performance reports. You’ll also help coordinate internal communications, external stakeholder updates, and act as a key source of support for the Tree Service Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and respond to enquiries and complaints relating to trees and parks services, including Member and MP enquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Issue works and monitor service contracts, ensuring compliance with delivery schedules and service standards.
- Prepare and present reports, data summaries and briefing notes for managers and stakeholders.
