We’re looking for a Revenue and Distribution Executive to join our Revenue Management team and support the delivery of the rooms revenue budget for a designated cluster of hotels. Reporting into the Cluster Revenue Manager, you will be supporting the hotel(s) with daily inventory management strategy and the ongoing optimisation of pricing strategy, room type availability, packages and channel strategy to maximise RevPar. You will also act as the key liaison between central revenue management and on-property teams.
The Revenue and Distribution Executive role is the ideal opportunity for someone wishing to pursue a career in Revenue Management whilst gaining a solid foundation in the technical aspects of Revenue Management.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience of revenue management within hospitality or related travel industry is desirable.
- Degree from Business School or Hotel Management School is desirable but not essential.
- Experience handling or managing group or transient reservations would be advantageous.
- Comfortable with learning forecast concepts/methodology and inventory control of a constrained product (Airline seats, hotel rooms, Car parks etc.).
- Tenacious, passionate and competitive.
- Self-motivated, however equally strong working within a team.
- Detailed and Technical (seeks to understand why, sticks to a task until complete).
- Process driven (likes routine and a structured environment).
- Shows flexibility and resilience when the going gets tough.
- When difficult circumstances prevail maintains integrity.
- Excellent organisation, attention to detail, communication and presentation skills.
