Our client, a leading defence contractor, is looking for a proactive and experienced Subcontract Lead to join their growing Procurement Team.
You will help to drive mission-critical programmes, managing the full subcontract lifecycle, and working closely with internal and external stakeholders as well as the global supply chain. As Subcontract Lead, you will take charge of managing the full subcontract lifecycle for high-impact engineering and defence projects with one or more key subcontractors. You will work with cross-functional teams, lead contract negotiations, manage subcontractor performance, and play a key role in delivering mission-critical projects around mechanical, electro-mechanical, and optical commodities. This exciting role will put you at the forefront of a team that designs and delivers cutting-edge commercial and defence electronics, systems, and solutions at a time of significant growth.
